It is often said that “Knowledge is Power”. It can be argued, however, that optimising people is the true route to real power. Power Through People Ltd endeavours to do just that— generate power through developing and releasing the potential of people. Whether of an individual, of an organisation, or of a community. This website is designed to provide an insight into the range of work undertaken by Power Through People Ltd. We are a young consultancy, launched in 2006, working with individuals as well as public, private and voluntary sector clients right across the Leisure, Environmental, and Community sectors. Our work will normally focus on specific leisure "disciplines" such as Sport, Exercise, Physical Activity, Healthy Lifestyles, Arts, Countryside Management, Tourism, Young People, Community Development & Regeneration and Children's play. We are also extremely experienced in the delivery of successful outcomes within "cross-cutting" agendas of Health, Community Safety, Regeneration, Liveability, Social Inclusion and Social Cohesion. Leisure in all its forms is now becoming more and more recognised as an important element of these wider social and economic agendas. We have particular skills in all forms of community consultation methods and highly committed to the role of Leisure in its own right as well as in relation to the crucial role it plays towards the realisation of personal and wider social and economic objectives. |
